The Merced County Chamber of Commerce and be a part of our cohesive voice for business advocacy and our Central Valley’s economic vitality. For over a century your County Chamber has been a true regional business advocate and a prudent fiscal steward with their members hard earned dollars. This is especially important now with the economic challenges our communities are facing. The County Chamber will continue this quest. We are continuing to work with our chamber committees and community organizations to monitor government, facilitate commerce and tourism, and develop a cohesive voice for the business communities throughout the Central Valley: The County Chamber’s Business Advocacy Committee has been diligently fighting for you on issues involving community planning, economic development and business/agricultural regulations.

Our Chambers Roundtable continues to network the City Chambers in the valley to help each other more effectively serve our communities. While the voice of a single business may go unheard, the united voice of businesses via the Chamber’s Roundtable has proven to be effective and beneficial.

Our Education Committee is increasingly involved in programs that not only affect education, but human relations, environmental, cultural and governmental concerns as well. We have partnered with several community organizations including the Community Gang Awareness Program, the Business Education Alliance and the County School’s P-16 Council.

The Agribusiness Committee of Merced County remains a vigilant team for agricultural education as well as awarding agricultural scholarships.

For a century, the County Chamber has created a beautiful County Exhibit at the California State Fair to promote Merced County and all of her cities to over a million visitors who visit the fair each year.
