Our response, "true business advocacy and a real return of investment to our members." The County Chamber has been a prudent fiscal steward with their member's hard earned dollars. For over 82 years your County Chamber has been a regional business advocate working with its committees and community organizations to monitor government, facilitate commerce and tourism, and being a cohesive voice for the business and agricultural community throughout the Central Valley. The County Chamber’s Business Advocacy Committee has been diligently fighting for you on issues involving community planning, development permitting and unfair agricultural and business regulations. The Land Bank Committee, which includes many of the most influential and knowledgeable land use experts in the State, will be an active participant in the designing of Merced County's new General Plan. Our Chambers Roundtable continues to network the City Chambers in the valley to help each other more effectively serve their members and their communities. The Agribusiness Committee remains a vigilant voice for agricultural education awarding scholarships to future agricultural leaders. For almost a century, your County Chamber has created a beautiful County Exhibit at the California State Fair and for the past three years we have shared the project with the County Schools ROP program donating several thousand dollars to the program. For almost 100 years, your County Chamber has supported many community organizations that are dedicated to the economic vitality of our community. In addition to networking and becoming part of the cohesive voice for business advocacy and our community's economic vitality you will also receive a free subscription to the monthly Business Gazette magazine and your business or organization listed in the Gazette as well as the nationally distributed Chamber Business Directory.
